Tenure and Continuous data for Academic employees must be entered in HRMS Workforce Administration upon hire. This data also requires updates due to promotion, change in status, or departure from the U.

FMLA Resources for Employees

The FMLA employee resource link is provided for units to be aware of the information  to their employees from the Office of Human Resources. FMLA is a federal law that provides job protection and benefits coverage to eligible employees. The OHR website provides descriptions of the types of leaves included under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

 

The Payroll Update is intended for units to submit corrections to pay during the payroll close process.
When a person's POI relationship with the University of Minnesota has ended, the POI record must be inactivated by updating both the POI Details page and the Maintain Person of Interest page.
Corrections to certain fields in Job Data are made due to an inaccuracy in the employee Job Data. At a unit's request, Central OHR would make the needed correction. A sequence "0" identifies the first row of data. An Effective Sequence greater than "0" identifies a new row of data.
